About the T-Guide Course
This online couse was developed as part of the T-GuIDE "Lifelong Learning" vocational training project, co-financed by the European Union.
The T-GuIDE e-learning course serves to demonstrate the competences that tourist guides need to learn to serve these target groups, and offers tools and methods for improving their skills and conducting tours in a socially responsible and inclusive way.

Course content
- e-Learning Modules – Six core modules introduce e-learners to the subject of Accessible Tourism and tourist guiding for visitors with intellectual disabilities and/or learning difficulties.
- e-Learning Sessions – Over twenty knowledge and scenario-based sessions cover facts, tips, good practices, videos and reference sources. Each session takes from 3 to 23 minutes to complete.
- e-Quizzes – Instructional quizzes with feedback that will test the user’s understanding of the knowledge gained from the e-learning sessions.
The e-learning platform and course content is designed to be accessible to persons with disabilities (WAI-WCAG 2.0 level A). Please note that some external content such as videos may not be accessible to persons with visual or hearing impairments.
Taking the Course
The T-GuIDE Course is delivered on-line in a series of five Modules. You can follow each module separately, when you have the time. There is no limit to how many times you can follow the modules and you can take as long as you like over each one. Times shown in parentheses are just an indication of how long it takes to complete each module.
